Two days after the discovery of the first explosive device in the mailbox of investor George Soros, the 11th and 12th bombs were found, this pair aimed at Sen. Cory Booker and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. In between those discoveries, bombs were directed at a number of Democratic officials and Trump critics, including President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. Thankfully, none of the bombs have exploded.
Shortly after the discovery of the 12th device at a Florida mail-handling facility, officials took a man into custody in Plantation, Florida. The suspect’s identity is not yet known, but sources have indicated that it is a 50-year-old man with “a criminal record.”
Authorities have also towed a white van, apparently belonging to the suspect, which was covered in pro-Trump political stickers. The ownership of the van has not been confirmed.
Another image circulating of a van with stickers that include Hillary Clinton in cross-hairs, along with claims about CNN, which was the target of at least two bombs, may or may not be the same vehicle. More information is coming.
Trump is expected to speak shortly.
