Remember last month how pundits were in such a tizzy about the potential fallout from Trump State Senators voting against our newest rape-iest member of SCOTUS? It was such a tough vote to take...blah...blah...blah.
We’re now starting to get a good idea of just how risky it was for Senators to vote what I hope was their conscience. I don’t have data from ND, which was gonna be tough no mater what...but here’s the latest data from newly purple AZ, and it’s encouraging. AZ is trending our way but still has (latest data I’ve seen) 160,000 more registered Repugs than Dems. Here’s the results from a newly released Marist Poll, which also found a statistically significant Sinema lead over McSally.
To summarize this chart, more of AZ’s red-tinged likely voters would REWARD a no vote on Kavanaugh rather than punish it. In the end perhaps Kavanaugh’s expression in the headline pic is what a lot of voters are feeling about him right now.

As was suggested, and though it’s just one poll, Sinema has moved beyond MOE in at least on section of this Marist poll (up by 6). I don’t get too excited by individual polls; however, taken as a group, Sinema has been pretty consistently ahead of McSally and that DOES excite me!
