Indicted insider trader Chris Collins (R-NY-27) thinks "the voters' will" is best supported by not making sure all of the votes were counted correctly, nor by waiting for 18,000 absentee and provisional ballots to be counted.
Collins campaign spokesman Chris Grant said McMurray should just accept his loss and go home.
“Close races are common in America, but that doesn't mean someone doesn't win,” he said. We encourage McMurray to “drop this absurd recount situation and let the voters' will stand and accept that he lost to Congressman Collins."
Seriously? “Drop this absurd recount situation and let the voters' will stand”? Recounts are “absurd” and don’t represent the voters’ will?
We’ll see about that.
