Despite that public opinion doesn't give a $hit about the wall,
Of those polled, a vast majority of Democrats—91%—said they didn’t think the wall was an immediate priority or said it was not a priority at all, while 35% of Republicans held that view. Sixty-three percent of Republicans thought the wall was of immediate concern compared to 7% of Democrats.
Trump is caving to pressure from Ann Coulter
But it seems as if the notoriously thin-skinned president can’t exactly take it, if his reaction to controversial conservative pundit Ann Coulter calling him “gutless” for failing to deliver on his promise of constructing a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border is any indication.
And from Steve Doocy
Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy said the Democrats had won the showdown, and Trump had lost.
He launched into a tirade saying the president “loses, and the Democrats will win everything” based on his apparent decision to compromise with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer.
Clearly Trump and Republicans were going to let the wall go but their overlords in conservative media vetoed their decision.
