Here is a selection of my favorite music scores from movies. Most of the music was composed by well-known and well-respected composers. I only selected music that was created explicitly for the movie, so that excludes films that borrow music from popular classical or pop music. The selections reflect my personal taste and my limited knowledge of films and music in films; I am sure I left out many outstanding and well-admired scores and composers.
Enjoy them this Saturday evening. I am sure there are many other films, whose music our astute readers admire and love, Please share your knowledge and expertise about them.

Also, its good to keep in mind, that different folks have different tastes and attachments to different music for different reasons. Music is universal, but is also very personal. Feel free to post YouTube links, so others can listen and get a taste.
