The AR-15 ammunition magazines that Nikolas Cruz used to murder 17 people at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine’s Day was decorated with swastikas, according to reports.
Florida school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz had swastikas on ammunition magazines he brought into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, a federal law enforcement source with direct knowledge of the investigation told CBS News on Tuesday. Cruz has been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.
This goes along with reports that former classmates have shared with news outlets about the gunman.
The news network reported that authorities found the fascist emblem on the rounds they recovered from Cruz, but it wasn’t the first time he flaunted the hate symbol.
A student at the Parkland, Fla., school previously told a social worker that Cruz had drawn a swastika on his bookbag next to the words “I hate n----rs.”
Trump meanwhile, has discussed Cruz’s clear psychological issues, and how terrible police officers and the FBI are. So, as Donald Trump’s Department of Justice (under Jeff Sessions’ leadership) looks to classify civil rights activism as domestic terrorism, the base of the Trump movement continues to create people who murder American citizens.
Oh, right. MS-13. I forgot about them for a minute because I couldn’t focus due to the sounds of hundreds of rounds of ammunition firing into a school down in Parkland, Florida. This isn’t a surprise. Coretta Scott King tried to tell everyone about giving power to people like Jeff Sessions back in 1986. She was right then, and her words have never been more true than now.
