Rand Paul had his usual Rand Paul snit last night, but people paid attention when his snit shut down government for a little while. David looks into what really happened last night, and what Trump really signed off on.

The White House knew exactly what was going on with Rob Porter, but are trying to get out of that loop as fast as they can. Mike Pence can assure you he already knows the least of anybody. Mike has to put in a lot of effort to stay less informed than Donald. Becoming informed is just not Dotard J. Trump’s “style of learning.” It is said that the president prefers to ask “edge” questions, in a rambunctious back-and-forth, all aimed at making sure he’s being delivered the truth as best his staff understand it.

David takes a peek into Kellyanne Conway’s opioid cabinet and finds it empty. Trump's Ethics Office has an unethical legal defense fund to fund the legal defense of unethical friends and family.

In Russia news, Oleg Deripaska hates Russia news. David reminds us that the Russian who fixed the winter olympics had a link to Trump.
