Good day everyone. This is my first post in a looooong time, so I apologize for any missteps. Let me know, and I’ll correct them.
Anyway, I did receive in the mail a Republican Affiliation Confirmation Card. Ordinarily I throw these things away, but I am aware of the steps these folks take in order to invalidate votes (they send something like this card, hoping it gets thrown away, and later go to court saying that the address is vacant and anyone voting from that address is a fraudulent voter). I think that is exactly what’s happening here. Mind you, I have voted in every election (local and otherwise) as a Democrat since 1982.
So, my query to the community is: What do I do with this thing? My initial temptation is to send it back with a letter detailing how I’m not voting for candidates in a political party that would invalidate votes in this manner. I also want to show it to someone at the County Clerk’s office, in case I have evidence of potential voter fraud on their side.
I am seriously unsure of what to do. I appeal to the wisdom of this forum.
