On April 11, 2017, SCL Group’s CEO Julian Wheatland and Chief Data Scientist Alex Tayler joined forces as equal shareholders in a newly incorporated company located at Pkf Littlejohn 1 Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf, London.
Called Emerdata, the company lists as its nature of business data processing, hosting and related activities. And appointed to its BOD in January of this year were Alexander Nix ( just unmasked in the BBC Channel 4 Cambridge Analytica sting) and Johnson Chun Shun Ko. He happens to be executive director and deputy chairman of Erik Prince’s security firm, Frontier Services Group.
That’s the same Erik Prince -- bad boy of Blackwater and brother of Betsy DeVos -- who’s approached 45 about privatizing the Afghan war with his own army and air force. And who took a top-secret meeting in the far-away Seychelles, allegedly to set up a back channel meeting between President-elect 45 and Putin.
Also appointed to the Emerdata BOD this week were Jennifer and Rebekah Mercer.
Is the Emerdata gang poised to pick up where CA left off? As in spawning a new round of Facebook data breaches?
Stay tuned!
