I'm proud to announce that I survived a townhall meeting in Devin Nunes's "safe" Republican district.
It was exciting to see over 200 of my opponent's constituents at the Bullard High School cafeteria Saturday night where we held a free and public question and answer forum. Shockingly, Republicans and Democrats were able to sit down as adults and discussed pressing issues like water and economic development in the Central Valley. Those in attendance didn't agree on everything but we left Bullard High collectively with a better understanding of what issues matter most to voters. I personally left the event wondering why Nunes has been so afraid or unwilling to hold a townhall meeting of his own.
This is what democracy looks like Congressman. I highly suggest you come back home and give our community the respect it deserves by having an adult conversation with your constituents. Come on in Devin, the water is fine.
Respectfully,
Andrew Janz
Criminal Prosecutor and Candidate for Congressional District 22
