It is now official—Jamie Allman’s disgraceful threat to ram David Hogg with a hot poker has removed him from St. Louis’ airwaves.
In case you missed it, after a weekend of harsh criticism, Allman was all but forced to resign from his sideline job as anchorman at KDNL-TV, the Sinclair-owned ABC affiliate. Soon afterward, he was effectively suspended from his morning-drive radio show at Fox News Radio affiliate KFTK while station officials conducted a full review.
That review apparently lasted less than a day. On Tuesday night, Entercom gave Allman his walking papers.
Jamie Allman has lost his ratings-topping conservative-talk radio show on KFTK (97.1 FM), a spokeswoman for the station’s owner said Tuesday night.
“I can tell you on the record KFTK has parted ways with Mr. Allman and that his show is canceled effective immediately,” said Esther-Mireya Tejeda of Entercom Communications.
The only surprise is that it took this long. He shouldn’t have even been allowed on the air on Monday morning.
Incredibly, the deplorables are wringing their hands over this. Need proof? The hashtag “#IStandWithJamieAllman” has been trending for awhile. Uh huh. So you stand with a guy who makes death threats?
