After closing the House Intelligence Investigation into Russian Election Interference — before all the Facts were in — the ‘pretend-recused’ Chairman of that Committee is back at it again.
Devin Nunes is abusing the power of his chairmanship — in order to dig up more fake news on the FBI motives for starting their Russian Election Interference investigation in the first place.
Rosenstein, Wray, Bow to Impeachment Threat, Allow Nunes to View Key Russia Investigation Document

The FBI opened its counterintelligence probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election in July 2016. The House Intelligence Committee had requested the electronic communication related to the opening of that investigation.
On Wednesday afternoon, Representative Devin Nunes, the committee’s Republican chairman, and Representative Trey Gowdy, another Republican on the panel, met with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to a statement by Nunes. The meeting came one day after Nunes said on television that he would “have a plan to hold in contempt and to impeach” Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray if they did not provide the document.

The manner in which the FBI launched its Russia investigation has been the topic of controversy. Some Republicans have believed the start was based on information that Christopher Steele, the former British spy initially hired by the firm Fusion GPS to do opposition research on Donald Trump, provided to authorities. But in December, The New York Times reported that comments former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos made to an Australian diplomat resulted in the launch of the probe.
Any bets on whether Nunes & Co. will be going after the Papadopoulos angle? Not likely, for down that path, the truth will be found.
Nevermind that The Nunes false accusations Memo, and subsequent Committee Report, concluded that the FBI was RIGHT about their overall assessments of Russian Interference — Nunes STILL has to find some new bone to pick with the FBI ‘sources and methods’ and/or the ‘political affiliations’ of it agents, AGAIN.
The Trump Base demands ‘another sacrifice’ … Andrew McCabe is SO ‘yesterday’s news’ …

“After more than a year, the committee has finished its Russia investigation and will now work on completing our report,” chairman Devin Nunes, Republican of California, said in a statement on Monday.
Nunes went on to thank several of his party’s committee members in the statement. “I’d like to thank Congressmen Trey Gowdy, Tom Rooney and especially Mike Conaway for the excellent job they’ve done leading this investigation. I’d also like to recognize the hard work undertaken by our other committee members as well as our staff.”

“The bottom line: The Russians did commit active measures against our election in ’16, and we think they will do that in the future,” Conaway told The New York Times. “We disagree with the narrative that they were trying to help Trump.”
“We found no evidence of collusion,” Conaway told reporters during a press briefing Monday afternoon. [...]
No of course not. “The Russians were trying to help Hillary” instead — everyone on Team Trump knows that recurring Trump Twitter theory. (Funny how the Nunes Committee found no evidence of that canard though ...)

Devin Nunes is abusing the power of his chairmanship again — in order to give Trump’s base some shred of another ‘Deep State conspiracy’, so they will ‘keep backing’ their Dear Leader … even though he is … as ‘Guilty as the Day is long’ … as ‘Guilty as a Leopard Liar’ … as ‘Guilty as Cain killing Abel’ …
He’s Back! Devin Nunes and his unquestioned devotion to a corrupt Leader of a Crime syndicate.
And Devin Nunes has GOT TO Go! (… and his ‘Dear Boss’ too.)
“The Rule of Law” (and America’s fragile system of Democracy) ... weighs in the “Survivor” balance.
