There he goes again — Rudy, trying to “clear things up” …
(Never mind that it is the “intent to conspire” that is what most “real Lawyers” look to prove.)
Giuliani provided a circuitous explanation of why Trump couldn’t have colluded with the Russians.
Rudy Giuliani says there’s “nothing illegal” about trying to find compromising information about opponents — even if the source is Russia.
[...]
Giuliani, who joined President Donald Trump’s legal team last month, went on to say that the “main thing” was that the Trump campaign “never used it … they rejected it,” referring to political “dirt.”
“If there was collusion with the Russians, they would’ve used it,” he added.
[...]
Well that’s a pretty low bar to have to clear Rudy-clueless …
[...]
Here are a few times Trump mentioned WikiLeaks during his campaign, according to widely available video footage of Trump's campaign-trail appearances:
- October 10, 2016 in Wilkes-Barre, PA: "This just came out," Trump said. "WikiLeaks, I love WikiLeaks."
- October 12, 2016 in Ocala, FL: "This WikiLeaks stuff is unbelievable," Trump said. "It tells you the inner heart, you gotta read it."
- October 13, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH: "It's been amazing what's coming out on WikiLeaks."
- October 31, 2016 in Warren, MI: "Another one came in today," Trump said. "This WikiLeaks is like a treasure trove."
- November 4, 2016 in Wilmington, OH: "Getting off the plane, they were just announcing new WikiLeaks, and I wanted to stay there, but I didn't want to keep you waiting," said Trump. "Boy, I love reading those WikiLeaks."

By telling his followers to check out Wikileaks at least 5 times — Trump did “ACCEPT” Russia’s Help … he did not “reject” the “Russian Collusion,” as Rudy claimed:
[...] WikiLeaks, which has often leaked American but never Russian secrets, has been identified by the U.S. intelligence community as a front for Russian intelligence. In January, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a declassified estimate that found “with high confidence that Russian military intelligence … relayed material to WikiLeaks.” This was done with a definite purpose: “Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him.”

“If there was collusion with the Russians, they would’ve used it,” Giuliani added.
Guess what America, “they used it” … “Russia’s political dirt”
— and according to Trump’s best loudest Lawyer:
that proves there was “Russian Collusion” with the Trump Campaign.
QED,
Quid pro Quo,
Dirt for Sanctions.
Great argument Rudy! More please …
