“Chain migration” for me, none for thee:
The mother and father of First Lady Melania Trump arrived Wednesday morning in Lower Manhattan for a hearing on their pending applications for U.S. citizenship.
Viktor Knavs, 73, and his wife Amalija, 71, declined comment as they exited 26 Federal Plaza — although the First Lady’s mom acknowledged the good weather.
“Oh, it is beautiful,’ she said.
Family reunification is indeed beautiful, unless of course you’re brown or black, according to Viktor and Amalija’s son-in-law:
President Trump, who made tightening the U.S. borders a key component of his administration, has denounced that process as a threat to U.S. security and called for its elimination.
Melania herself probably worked in the U.S. illegally and then lied about it, something that can get an ordinary Joe or Jane’s legal status revoked. But when you’re rich, white, and in the Trump orbit, the rules are only for the little people.
