Today Trump is trying to push the “Spygate” meme. Apparently he feels the FBI should not have investigated dozens of surreptitious meetings and activities between his campaign and Russian spies and operatives.
So here’s a hashtag for you, Donald: #Treasongate. A catchy little catchall for all that you and your fellow conspirators and collaborators have done to undermine the United States and the Western Alliance for power and profit. This includes not only Donald Trump but Trump Jr., Kushner, Manafort, Bannon, Flynn, Pence, Ryan, McConnell and especially Nunes.
Just some of the treasonous activities...
- Conspiring with Russia to steal the 2016 election.
- Providing cover to the Russians by denying their efforts.
- Throwing obstacles in the way of a legitimate counter-espionage investigation.
- Creating and/or attempting to create secret back-channel communications with the Kremlin.
- Assuring Russia you would remove sanctions for Crimea invasion.
- Accepting illegal campaign funds from foreign governments including Russia and the UAE (more to come I’m sure) likely funneled through organizations like the NRA and private citizens in exchange for foreign policy benefits.
- Providing China with their foreign policy goals in exchange for valuable trademarks and funding for Trump projects.
- Changing the platform of the RNC to reflect Kremlin goals in the Ukraine.
- Undermining NATO and pulling out of numerous treaties negotiated with our allies.
- Not implementing sanctions for election meddling on Russia on a timely basis despite nearly unanimous passage by Congress.
- Etc., etc., etc.
Enough talk of “collusion” — a non-legal, nicer version of what actually took place: Conspiracy Against the United States of America. We’re talking #Treasongate
