San Francisco artist Elaine Badgley Arnoux had a vision. Seeing a pile of toilets in her apartment building’s basement, she visualized Donald Trump sitting on top. This vision inspired her to create FLUSH: a Protest Project, toilets transformed by artists into statements on the state of our democracy. Fourteen FLUSH pieces are now on display at SF’s Swedish American Hall, 2174 Market St between Church & Sanchez, Fridays & Saturdays through July 28, 11am — 5pm. There will be a Poetry Reading July 14, an Artists Panel July 20, and a Closing Party July 28, all three events free, 7-9pm.
