What happens when you get an attorney general who “joked” that he didn’t mind the KKK until he found out they liked pot? You get an attorney general who “jokes” about migrant children—including infants and kids with Down syndrome—getting torn from the arms of parents at the U.S./Mexico border. But civility, right?
While protesters roared outside, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III tried out his demented stand-up act during a speech in front of the conservative Criminal Justice Legal Foundation in L.A. Tuesday, criticizing “radicalized” Democrats—dude, Stephen Miller used to work for you!—who have been protesting the administration’s barbaric “zero tolerance” policy:
“These same people live in gated communities, many of them, and are featured at events where you have to have an ID to even come in and hear them speak. They like a little security around themselves.”
America’s most racist Keebler elf could barely contain his giddiness as he hit the “punchline”—the more than 2,000 kids who have been torn from parents at the border, and who will continue to remain separated from them because the administration has created no plan on how to reunite them:
“And if you try to scale their fence, believe me, they’ll be only too happy to have you arrested and separated from your children.”
Sessions wasn’t the only sick fuck in the room, because audience members actually laughed and applauded. Yup, a breastfeeding baby getting torn from her mom, fucking hilarious. But these are the people deserving civility, right? That’s the only fucking joke here.
