Twelve-year-old Reginald Fields is an ambitious young man. He owns and runs Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service, employing his siblings and cousins to help him get coverage on clients’ lawns throughout the Maple Heights, Ohio, area. News 5 in Cleveland reports that while Reginald and his team cut the grass of customer Lucille Holt-Colden, a neighbor decided to drop a dime on them.
"They said I was cutting their grass. I didn't know it!" Reggie said.
It turns out that Fields’ team of lawn-cutters encroached on a one-foot area where Lucille Holt-Colden and her neighbor’s lawns butt up together. What do you do when you see three kids, one who is 12 and the other two younger than that, cutting (almost exclusively) your neighbor’s grass—but they clip a foot of your grass?
You call the police?
Customer Lucille Holt-Colden created a Facebook post about her dubious neighbor and the love has been pouring in. She’s had to set up a GoFundMe campaign because of the intense level of positive feedback her Facebook page received from people wanting to help Reginald with his business.
In an interview about the incident, Mr. Fields told News 5 that anyone interested should “just give me a call. I’ll be there on time.”
This kid is the best.
