This is mostly going to be a photo diary.
Probably just south of a thousand people showed up in the pouring rain at the Orlando, Florida City Hall to show solidarity with immigrant families being torn apart by Trump’s Gestapo.
As did a counter-protester who did nothing but troll with his Trump-Pence sign and brag about how he had the balls (his words) to show up.
But there was a large show of support and solidarity for our immigrant friends and neighbors and it was good to see. Many cars drove by with lots of honks of support.
I got pictures, mostly of the protest signs.
Here’s some stuff I saw.
(As a note, every photo taken of a non-crowd shot was with permission, and in particular all kids had their parents’ permission to have their pictures taken.)
If I managed to duplicate any photos, I apologize — but a lot of great people of all ages and many races were here today and I didn’t want to miss anyone.
