There is a lot of hand wringing over Brett “In hock to the Washington Nationals“ Kavanaugh’s nomination to the supreme court, particularly with regard to Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion throughout the country.
That is a lot to worry about, but the Talibaptists don’t want to stop there, they intend to go after Eisenstadt v. Baird, which gave unmarried people the right to possess birth control, and Griswold v. Connecticut, which granted that right to married people.
I am not engaging in hyperbole here. Representatives of the Christian Dominionist movement have explicitly stated that this is their goal. (see also here, here, here, here, and here*)
This is not driven by a belief in the sanctity of life, but by a hatred and fear of female autonomy in the sexual sphere.
