Article III of the United States Constitution provides in relevant part:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
Today, Donald Trump committed treason against the United States by giving aid and comfort to a foreign dictator, Vladimir Putin. It is clear from the voluminous evidence that Putin has been conducting cyberattacks on the United States for at least 3 years and that he is an enemy of this country. Today, Donald Trump took his side, and joined in his propaganda attacks against the United States.
When will a United States Senator stand up and commence Article 3 proceedings against Donald Trump? It is now their Constitutional duty to do so.
Here is the roadmap:
1. File a Rule 17 motion directed to Ruth Bader Ginsberg to grant leave to file a complaint under the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court against Donald Trump for treason.
2. Obtain leave to file said complaint from Justice Ginsberg.
3. File the complaint at the Supreme Court.
4. Request that a special master be appointed by the Supreme Court to try the case.
5. Once conviction is obtained, turn over the matter of punishment to the Congress as directed in Article 3, Section 3 of our Constitution.
