A young Korean who emigrated legally to the US at age 9 is facing deportation because she turned 18 and is being denied a green card by the Trump administration. She will not be able to finish high school with her class … her plan was to become a surgical oncologist but now she has to go to Canada for her senior year without her mom. Note: she has never lived here without proper documentation! She will have to pay tuition for high school there and won’t be able to complete all of the AP classes due to additional requirements of classes like Canadian history. She would have had no problem under the Obama administration. She has been to 3 lawyers without any luck. This just makes my blood boil! Does anyone out there have any ideas?
