There are Democrats running in Georgia in districts that haven’t had a Democratic candidate in 20 years.
Yesterday a group of Democratic candidates gathered at a carnival in Kennesaw in Cobb County, organized by Sarah Riggs Amico, Democratic candidate for Lt. Gov.
Cobb County was once the base of Newt Gingrich, and a conservative Republican stronghold. That’s been slipping seriously lately, and Hillary Clinton won Cobb County in the 2016 presidential race.
