On Thursday night, Hillary Clinton attended a performance of the musical “Hello, Dolly!” starring Bette Midler and Shubert Theatre lit up in a brilliant display of joy and admiration. The ecstatic audience showered her with a raucous standing ovation. Bette Midler herself was extremely excited describing Clinton’s visit as “a thrill” that “made us all unbelievably happy.”
Such joy!
R. Eric Thomas writes at ELLE Magazine -
If you need me for the rest of my life, I'll be hanging out in this photo of Hillary Clinton sandwiched between Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce in period clothing like the end of The Shining but happy.
My permanent out-of-office reads "An actual train comes out on stage during 'Put On Your Sunday Clothes' and I'm catatonic from the thought of how much joy it brought Hillary Clinton when she saw it. If this is an emergency, please find tickets to Hello, Dolly! and see for yourself."
Bette Midler is fighting for us and she is quite vocal about it.
Hillary is not going to fade into the sunset. Democrats never do!
Have you noticed how Democratic Presidents continue to perform public service, forever, while most Republican presidents go back to chopping wood, once they leave office?
Looking forward to the show -
Let’s put on our Sunday clothes, we have an election to win. There's a slick town, out there, full of shine and full of sparkle.
