It’s been awhile since House leader Nancy Pelosi had and a one-on-one broadcast on MSNBC. It’s time. And well worth a viewing — imo
But first, Reverend Al Sharpton, wades through and dismantles the misleading secessionist talking points of Corey Stewart (R) in this segment:
— August 12, 2018
Corey Stewart attempts to defend past arguments about race. Corey Stewart goes as far to say “The fact of the matter is that most of our problems in this country are not due to race and they can't be solved by focusing on race.” Tune in to see how Rev. Al Sharpton handles going head to head with GOP Candidate Corey Stewart.
note: If the videos don’t play at first, try again after a moment when the video reappears; third try usually does the trick; if not maybe try refreshing the page of view at the link above or here
Kudos Reverend. Calm, reasoned dialogue up against a foul minded republican with nothing to offer up but worn out secessionist insults. Reverend Al Sharpton took this guy and his race baiting vitriol apart.

House Leader Nancy Pelosi one-on-one part 2:
— August 12th, 2018
In an exclusive interview with AMJOY, Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi explains why president Trump is, “…afraid of Maxine Waters.” And other women who are going to be coming into congress. She also shares what will happen if the democrats take back the House, and why she is “still the best person for the job.”
Nancy Pelosi answers a whole range of very interesting questions. One is about the speakership.
Jonathan Capehart mentions that there are more than a few Dems calling for her replacement as speaker; Step down or not (?). Her answer nails it imo.
Here is a very small but important part of her answer:
“I do not think our opponents should select the leader of our party..”
The rest of leader Pelosi’s answer is also very illuminating. The GOP attack what they fear. Especially women

one last end note: MSNBC has reworked their web page formats with a newer version that does not provide video embed options. The older version can be found but you have to hunt it down through a circuitous path of links.
In the future I’ll figure out the easiest route and maybe post something on it. MSNBC @ YouTube is easy, but the selection is often a few days later and sometines missing some good segments worth sharing.
