I like Sam Adams Beer, but I don’t like fascists. Sadly, Jim Koch, founder of the company that makes Sam Adams Beer, has decided to embrace the fascists’ orange god. While dining with the First Traitor, Koch thanked the President* for his rich man’s welfare, um, tax cut.
Said the Reichsbrewer:
I mean, Americans - I'm the largest American-owned brewery at 2 percent market share. We were paying 38 percent taxes ... and competing against people who were paying 20. And now we have a level playing field, and we're going to kick their ass,
The Mayor of Somerville, Joseph A. Curtatone, isn’t having it, tweeting:
I will never drink Sam Adam's beer again!
And so it should be for all of us. There are a lot of fine brews out there. I’m partial to Sierra Nevada, as they’re big on sustainability practices. Solar panels are all over the place in their plant’s parking lots (along with chargers for electric vehicles). Plus, to my knowledge, their founder has never praised a white supremacist babysnatcher.
