For the last year and a half I have been hearing that “sitting Presidents can’t be indicted”...and every time I hear this it pisses me off! This is a Republic, and we all stand equal under the law. If a sitting President commits a felony, he or she needs to pay the price like the rest of us. Where does this come from that a President can’t be charged and be required to face the charges in Court? As there are many people who write or comment on this site who are involved in the justice world, I would be keen to hear your take on why a sitting President who has committed a felony shouldn’t be treated like the rest of this. I really want to hear what the arguments are, on both sides of this question. Thanks, in advance, for your input
