A letter signed by 65 women vouching for Kavanaugh’s character while he was a young man going to an all-male prep school materialized over night. Who since has vetted every single one of these women? Has any credible news source investigated them to see who they are and how they knew Kavanaugh so well when he went to an all-male prep school?
Are these 65 women credible? If they signed their names, they should be able to demonstrate some level of familiarity from the old days. A photo taken with Kavanaugh, a signed year book, a letter, a diary page.
Surely these 65 women can recount stories of going for ice cream with old Brett at that ice cream parlor on Main Street where he always ordered a chocolate sundae. Right? Or maybe some of these 65 women have contemporaries they told about how dreamy Brett was.
The Republican leadership produced this letter supposedly signed by 65 women and we’re just supposed to accept they all knew Kavanaugh so very well back in the day they can testify for him?
Maybe I’m out of line. But while the Republicans gear up to start impugning the character of the woman who was sexually assaulted, it seems strange journalists just accept the signatures of 65 women as valid in any capacity.
Are all 65 women willing to testify to Congress, under oath and answer questions about how they knew Kavanaugh so very well?
