Durbin asks Ford about her subsequent encounter with Mark Judge at a Safeway where he was working. How did she know he was uncomfortable at seeing her?

She went into the Safeway, where Judge was arranging shopping carts. She said hello, and his face was white and extremely uncomfortable. “We had always been friendly with one another” but this time he was “nervous and not really wanting to speak with me.” She estimates this was six to eight weeks after the assault.
