About a seventy percent chance exists that Democrats will take the United States House of Representatives in November. Republicans should be hoping that it happens. If it does, Democrats will start going on television shows and pushing their ideas, and Republicans can fill the airwaves with tough talk against the extreme Left-Wing Agenda. If the Democrats vote to impeach President Donald J. Trump, Republicans can easily make sure that Democrats never get the two-thirds majority that they need in the Senate, all the while saying they are fighting for the will of the people. The Republicans will still control the Senate, so they can keep pushing their right-wing Supreme Court nominees whenever there is an opening. Since the Republicans will still control both the Senate and the White House, nothing the Republicans hate will need to go into effect.
The main reason that Republicans should be hoping that the Democrats take the House is the horrible things that will happen if the Democrats do not take the House. If they do not, President Trump will fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions and make sure he is replaced with a puppet who will either cripple or disable Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Any report Mueller is able to make to the Republican controlled House of Representatives will be buried, and the Democrats will, of course, scream bloody murder. The details of the Mueller investigation will surely get out, and the American people will lose faith in both Donald Trump and the Republicans. However, since the details of the Report will not be official, the Republicans will feel zero compulsion to act as if the details are true, and will feel zero need to act upon the findings.
While this is going on, the increasingly delusional Donald Trump will consider the inability of the Democrats to take the House as a complete and full endorsement of everything he has ever done. He will be convinced that every decision he has ever made has been the correct one, and the only mistakes he ever came close to making have almost occurred whenever he foolishly considered trusting anyone’s judgment over his own. In this vein, he will make sure that every moment he is surrounded by only the biggest of sycophants and Yes Men. By this time, pretty much everyone with a spine will have left the White House, and there will be no one left to rein him in.
The Trump To-Do list will slowly turn into the ultimate horror show:
Assassinate a World Leader? Check!
Remove U.S. Troops from hotspots around the world? Check!
Do whatever his Master Vladimir Putin wants him to do? Check!
The nightmare that the current Presidency has been will pale in comparison to the apocalypse that awaits us all, and since the Democrats will have fought this disaster tooth and nail, there will be no one to blame except the Republicans. Assuming our nation and the world survives this cataclysm, the world will realize that it was the Republicans who were responsible for putting a madman in the White House, and that they were responsible for supporting him month after month, year after year, despite overwhelming evidence of his incompetence.
How badly will this be for the Republican Party? How was the Nazi Party viewed in Germany after World War II? The Nazi Party put a madman in the highest position, then refused to do anything to remove him despite huge evidence of his mental illness. An autopsy of Adolf Hitler found that he had syphilis, which can destroy the brain. We know that Donald Trump, by his own repeated admissions, has had sex with countless women. For all we know, his mental deterioration is due to the same disease. A standard physical would only detect syphilis if a blood test that would specifically detect that disease was given, which is not ordinarily given for most physicals. Does Trump have syphilis? I have no idea, but there is obviously something terribly wrong with him.
So, as I said at the beginning, Republicans, if you are smart, get down on your knees and pray that Democrats take the House. Better yet, stop lying about the Democrats so that it is easier for them to win the House seats that they need to win. Yes, you will only have the Presidency, the Supreme Court, and the Senate, but you will fare much better than the alternative. And should you Republicans decide that you are actually better off without a mentally ill President, you can always blame his removal on Democrats and a few rogue Republicans from purple states. The majority of Republicans will look like they valiantly fought for Saint Donald right until the end.
