The big selling point of the last election was we would have control of committees. We are a month into the new Congress and I don't see jack. There is a clear and present danger in the White House and nothing. This evening I saw a short interview with Rep. Engler, who is head of the Foreign Relations Committee, and I have to say It was not encouraging. The President is contemplating withdrawal from NATO and Mr. Engler thinks he'll know who is on his committee in a “couple of days.” Committees have not been finalized. How can we figure out what the hell happened and what is happening when it takes a fucking month to form a committee? This is half assed, dangerous, and has more to do with egos than good government. There is potentially a Russian asset in the White House and we still haven't finalized who is on what committee? Where is the urgency? Where is the focus? Trump won, at least in part, because he outworked Clinton and I see the same kind of thing going on again. Will someone light a fire under these people and get this moving, it's only our country that depends upon it.
