As I write this, the main take-away from tRump Commerce Secretary and Cyprus Bank money launderer Wilbur Ross interview on CNBC is his quote that the US is “miles and miles away” from a trade deal with China. The ups and downs of these talks have triggered, well, ups and downs in the stock market over the last few months, and obviously the Wall Street apologists on CNBC didn’t take too kindly to that sentiment.
BUT, when ole Cyrpus Ross was asked about the government shutdown, he said something like, it’s not like the workers are facing a choice between a paycheck and nothing — the workers should go to their bank or credit union and take out a loan.
Even the filthy rich Wall Street apologists on CNBC were stunned into momentary silence at the callous disregard for these employees.
But it gets even better (or worse, really). He was asked again: these federal workers are going to homeless shelters for free food. His response: yeah, I don’t really understand that because they can go to their bank and get a loan.
Here’s the the link to the story which as I write this is highlighting the China trade talk comments.
I was screaming at the TV as this interview went on. I just wanted him off my teevee. Then I wanted this interview to go on all day long, be shown everywhere today all day long, so that people could see and hear another “let them eat cake” comment from this gang of grifters, money launderers, and traitors.
Update: I called the Commerce Department today to urge Cyprus Wilbur to keep doing interviews. The nice lady who answered the phone said they’d been getting phone calls like that all morning.
