I monitor a pro Trump website, for days like today that I can get a heaping dose of schadenfreude.
Here is one Trumpanze’s reaction to Trump caving. It’s not Ann Coulter but it is a foot soldier in the 35% that votes. And the language is of course the couth you would expect from them
But the pussy is conceding more and more ground to Pelosi I am about to start calling him Bitch. If I was him. I would lay out the next area of the government I would shut down for each week it goes on. Congress and Senate first. SCOTUs next and then keeping moving and only exclude the military and Dept Homeland. Everyone else can fuck off until they give me what I want. Let's see how fast the fuckers talk. See if Pelosi and Schumer keep working if not being paid. He seems to have lost his edge to be honest. The President Trump of 2017 would never have caved like this. See if they call his bluff.

This is the first sign I’ve seen of true believers starting to show disappointment. If it signals a trend that’s great.
I honestly am quite surprised that Trump took this action. Who is advising him, and to whom is he actually listening? Baby face Kushner was supposedly his last, trusted adviser on this, and he was staunchly opposed to giving in.
Clearly Trump was paying attention to the polls- one had his approval matching the lowest of his presidency, during the Charlottesville fiasco.
The way he took over the narrative, making a “big” announcement saying that a deal had been reached (when in fact it was the same deal that failed yesterday other than a bit of an extension) made it seem as if he had done something to accomplish this. Bonus points for taking the attention away from the Roger Stone indictment.
So moving forward depends on whether these acolytes are butthurt enough to give up by 2020, or if Trump doesn’t have any more major screwups (unlikely) this will be long forgotten by the time the election rolls around
Bonus points: CNN located a Trump voter/federal worker with buyer’s remorse
This unpaid federal worker worries about keeping his child alive. He regrets voting for Trump
