Howard Schultz made a lot of money marketing a national brand of coffee. He knows next to nothing about running a nation, and as we have learned observing Trump, running a business legitimate or not, does not qualify you to be President of the United States.
I propose that between Ronald Reagan’s birthday on February 6 and George Washington’s on 18 February KOS and its readers work to organize a nationwide boycott of Starbucks. Schultz may not be leading the company but he certainly watches the traffic and sales aspects. He’ll notice a sales drop over 12 days and get a taste of how we feel about his ego trip.
Could there be a better way to impress on him the lack of public interest in his running for president when there are so many people with political experience and policy chops available. Frankly the only person who really benefits if Schultz is an “independent self-financed candidate” is Trump who likes neither coffee nor people.
