You lit up the phones at the Tennessee Democratic Party! You left great messages asking them to support Eric Coleman in the Special Election for the Senate seat in district 32! As Thinking Fella said:
I told them I found it sad that folks like me, from across America, were supporting a Democrat in Tennessee while Tennessee’s own Democratic Party isn’t. Since their voicemail said they would return my call, I asked them to return my message and explain how I in Colorado have provided more financial support to one of their candidates than they have.
Thank you so much! With the race 6 weeks away, the Party is finally paying attention. You guys did that! An insider from the Coleman campaign told me he finally got a call from the Chair, Mary Mancini.
Tennessee 2019 - Eric Coleman
Mary Mancini may not be real happy with me, but hey, no one likes to have it pointed out that they’re not doing their job. I’m not here to win friends, just influence people to help elect candidates. She is doing her job now though, good on her.
You guys rocked that! You tipped and rec'd a candidate diary, you called the Party, AND you donated! You know that Eeyore attitude the officers of the Democratic Party have? That whining, “We can’t win there”...
I think you just showed them that we damn well can win and if we don’t, it’s not because we didn’t try our hardest. The TNDP now has a page that says this. Finally. Welcome to the party, no need to bring whine.
Now let’s see if we can wake up the Senate Democrats and get them to endorse Eric Coleman.
Senator Raumesh Akbari — (615) 741-1767 — email — Sen.Raumesh.Akbari@capitol.tn.gov
Senator Brenda Gilmore — (615) 741-2453 — email — Sen.Brenda.Gilmore@capitol.tn.gov
Senator Sara Kyle —(615) 741-4167 — email — Sen.Sara.Kyle@capitol.tn.gov
Senator Katrina Robinson — (615) 741-2509 — email — Sen. Katrina.Robinson@capitol.tn.gov
Senator Jeff Yarbro — (615) 741-3291 — email — Sen.Jeff.Yarbro@capitol.tn.gov
That’s it, there are 5 (FIVE) Democrats in our 33 member Senate. Wouldn’t you think they’d want 6? Give them a call or email and ask them. Please!
TN LABOR is having a meeting tonight to decide if they’ll endorse Eric. Now, maybe that’s just the democratic process, but who else would they endorse but the Democrat running in this special election?
Time to also give a shout to the Memphis AFL-CIO Labor Council — Office: (901) 278-3200
AFSCME will be at the meeting tonight as well. Their number is 901-525-2458. They damn sure better vote to support Eric. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis while supporting this union, the Memphis Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees.
Malcolm Nance retweeted about Eric Coleman!
