A year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes and, after getting it under control, my tests show I’m consistently in the pre-diabetes number range for nearly a year, now.
However, my doctor still has me on a low dose of Metformin. During today’s appointment, needing a new Rx for Metformin, I told the new PA she could call it into the pharmacy we use: Walgreens.
She raised an eyebrow and said, “You know you can get it free at Publix, right?”

I know this is off topic but I wanted to share for anyone in the Southeast who may not know about this or for those with friends/family in the Southeast who may not know.
Peace out.
