Kamala Harris brings a skill set to the presidential primary that is built to address the challenges that will face the country after the 2020 election. What the country needs is not just someone who can prosecute the case against Trump and his sycophantic minions, but someone who can repair the untold damage Trump’s corruption has done at all levels of the Federal Government.
Her skills as a prosecutor emerged early in her senate career as we saw her challenge and attack Jeff Sessions, Brett Kavenaugh and Bill Barr. For those who have forgotten the Jeff Sessions questioning, here is a clip
More recently, Kamala takes apart Bill Barr
Kamala possesses the ability to see quickly through attempts to confuse and cloud the issues. Whether it is prosecuting spousal abusers, sexual predators, or the future prosecution of the corrupt monstrosity currently occupying the White House, you can count on Kamala to hone in on the crime and ensure the truth emerges.
As impeachment moves forward, Kamala has been front and center in pressuring not just the president but the coterie of crooks surrounding him. She has asked for an Inspector General investigation of the Justice Department, recommended Rudy Guiliani’s disbarment, and more recently demanded Trump be removed for Twitter for his tweets that seemed intent on inciting civil war.
Indeed, her attacks on Giuliani led him to famously reveal texts between himself and Kurt Volker with the result that Volker felt compelled to resign
But after Trump is gone, after his henchmen and women are removed, the entire government needs to be repaired and rebuilt and Republican corruption rooted out.
Of the candidates for the presidency, Kamala is not just the best person to prosecute the case, she is also the best prepared to repair the damage.
There is not a part of government that has not been compromised by this administration. Justice, the Attorney General’s Office, the State Department, the EPA, have all been abused to enrich and protect the president. Thousands of positions have been left unfilled as power has been centered on those whose loyalty is not to the country but to a narcissistic weasel of a man.
When Kamala was first elected as District Attorney, she took over an office that was in serious disrepair. It lacked basic basic resources such as up to date computer and data systems, and the office had just come off of an embarrassing debacle in it’s failure in prosecuting what was called “Fajitagate (in which a group of police became involved In a drunken brawl). She completely reorganized the office, bringing in the resources they needed while also instituting progressive and creative programs such as Back On Track. She did the same once she was elected as Attorney General.
Most importantly, rather than surround herself with sycophants and loyalists she sought out individuals with drive and passion for change. The best example of this is Lateefah Simon, who was working with victims of sexual abuse in San Francisco. Kamala brought her into the DA office to help run the Back on Track Program. She proved to be a strong mentor to this remarkable woman. Here is a recent inteview with Ms, Simon.
Later, when she needed someone to administer the 25 billion dollar settlement she acquired from banks, she sought out another standout woman when she gave the job to Katie Porter.
With Kamala Harris in the Oval Office, we will see a woman who will recruit men and women passionate for change, and with the skills necessary to remake and rework a government that has been damaged in unimaginable ways since the election. She is noted for her attention to detail, as the clip with Ms, Simon demonstrates, and for her ability to see the interconnectedness of solutions and the need to look beyond basic options when tackling a problem.
Kamala Harris is the person best matched to meet the problems of today while building the foundation needed to put in place progressive solutions in important areas like climate change, health care, criminal justice reform and gun control.

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
All should be made to feel welcomed here. What’s not welcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
I’d like to ask all group members, as well as those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity from other campaign’s supporters with even more negativity. Let’s do better than our best and respond with respect, humor or try to hold our peace. Recipes and cat pics work, too 😃
Doing no harm costs us nothing... pie-fights will cost us everything.
