Sometimes you have to admire the art of it.
“Of the women on the stage — I’m focusing here on my fellow women senators, Sen. (Kamala) Harris, Sen. (Elizabeth) Warren and myself — do I think that we would be standing on that stage if we had the experience that he had? No, I don’t,” Klobuchar said.
On CNN. When, where and how attacks are launched have a huge effect. This is one of the better multi-layered attacks I’ve seen. She threw Bloomberg right into Mayor Pete’s face. We are in peak Bloomberg in the news cycles, the comparisons are right there (even wall street, stop and frisk wont help either).
I had stopped writing this until I saw the Amy Klobuchar is Done diary. Whose thrust was how dare she criticize a gay candidate. I’m sure Amy took that into consideration, but felt she needed to do it anyway. That automatic reaction fcvaguy had is understandable but really just says he cannot be criticized for his most apparent weakness his lack of political experience.
But even Mayor Pete had to acknowledge the point
When asked whether a, 37-year-old mayor of South Bend or a similar size city be given the same look from voters that Buttigieg initially received, he replied, "I don't know."
I don’t have a link but a MSNBC reporter asked the question to the crowd at a Buttigieg event and stated that the women in attendance agreed.
The slight dis of Tulsi is entirely ignored. Amy did accomplish exactly what she wanted. The last couple of news cycles have indeed included Mayor Mike and Pete comapisons, the fact that he has really only gotten less then 10k votes has been mentioned, Mckinsy has popped up again.
A pretty effective ploy against her current main rival. Delivered in a place and time that will do her the least damage. With enough obvious truth to make it stick past the point of who delivered it.
