Anonymous’s book, A Warning, is not quite out yet, but based on the excerpts that have been released and read on air, it appears that Anonymous was less concerned about what Trump is doing to the nation through his domestic and international policies than about whether Trump’s erratic behavior would interfere with the ability to carry out those policies. In light of that, I find A’s “crisis of conscience” over whether it was best to stay to prevent Trump’s ”worst impulses” or to leave and expose them, is disingenuous, to say the least.
[*To Sarah Hartman who, when I complained about the phony “crisis of conscience,” responded with the reference to Hamlet—which made us both laugh—THANK YOU for the idea!]
