I don’t understand why actor/musician Jussie Smollett did this. More fame? More attention? Why would a relatively famous good looking celebrity risk ruining their career for this ?.  I don’t know if he was going through some emotional or mental problems or not. What I know is that every time someone is exposed for faking a hate crime or rape, it does a real injustice to real victims of hate crime or rape. Imagine the average poor trans person or gay person on the steets attacked by a bigot for who they are. Now people will have a hard time believing them.

Note:-EVEN Trump was sympathetic to Smollett when this was first reported. That’s how much almost everyone believed him and took his side. Smollett should apologize to the gay community, the black community and even to Trumpers and  he should be punished by law for what he has done.
