If you have cable check it out.
She’s addressing white nationalism and the issue of reparations which she supports.
OK enough, want to listen:)
On edit:
This townhall is being held in Jackson, MS. It’s a full house and the audience has excellent questions and appears to be very enthusiastic and receptive to Senator Warren.
She’s discussed taxation, especially of the rich, which gets a huge hand. I think people have had it with the obvious and growing inequality in our country, and see taxation as a means to address it.
She has also talked about corporate over-reach and the need for regulations. Can anybody disagree? She spoke of ways big companies abuse their workers, their consumers, entire communities. This is not to say she doesn’t believe in markets; she asserts she does but states we need robust regulation and UNIONS.
Yes!
Climate change has just come up. She says, gasp, that she believes in science. OMG.
Shock!
Ah. I love Senator Warren. She is smart, fearless, funny.
She’s talking after infrastructure, building green energy infrastructure and preparing for the future with climate change in mind, not just here but around the world.
I think this is important — we’re going backwards. And we’ve lost our position as leader in the world.
The question of Confederate monuments came up. In fact the flag of Mississippi has a Confederate battle symbol on it, which obviously she says much change.
So much of what Senator Warren says is just common sense!
Oh please, America, let us vote for common sense.
