I’m on the road right now — Secret Mission, all very hush hush... don’t tell a soul.
As far as I’m concerned, this is it: Make it or break it. Showtime for Democracy. I put up 200 signs last month, hopefully I’ll get around to posting some of them here, but for now, this one was by far the most seen:
To put it up you have to climb over a wall in a black neighborhood, so that kept the Republicans out. I guess CalTrans left it up because at this point they want to know if we’re Russian too. It probably would’ve stayed up longer if I hadn’t gone back and changed it to this:
Most of the 200 were “Impeach,” “Collusion: Lots of it.” and “Release the Full Report.” And a new campaign I’m hoping the Dems will take up: “Dignity Matters.” It’s funny I can put signs like that up and everybody knows what I’m talking about. Funny and, of course, sad. The triptych below has been up for a month now over by Marine World in Vallejo, CA. You can see it from all lanes of Highway 37 and a couple of rollercoasters.
Again: a month. In direct sight of 70,000 cars per day — all because Republicans can’t climb a small hill.
Oh yeah, I think this one was the funniest:
Anyway, like I said — 200 signs. Hope to put up 200 more. And this time where they’ll do some fucking good. I mean — now more than ever, right? We’re being attacked by Russia, after all, and people either don’t realize this or don’t seem to care. What this country needs right now is a few more Paul, and Paula, Reveres.
Okay, here are some signs from others.
The sign below is how it’s supposed to go. A woman in Sacramento sees one of my tweets, paints a large piece of cardboard white, spells out words she wants read with duct-tape and puts it over her local freeway where it stays up for 36 hours and 100,000 people see it. I swear, if just 2% of my twitter followers did that, just once, then the audience would cover — numerically anyway — every man, woman and child in the United States.
