I met with Flynn Broady at Cool Beans Coffee Roasters on Marietta Square last Monday and talked with him about his campaign for Cobb County District Attorney. The seat was vacated by Republican Vic Reynolds when Reynolds was appointed Director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Recent elections have tilted Cobb from solidly Republican to solidly Democratic.
The conversation covered subjects from racial inequality, to the accountability courts, to gang activity in Cobb County.
Broady retired from the Army after 26 years of service and has been a prosecutor, mostly in the accountability courts, since his retirement from the military.
