We don’t know what we’ll be healing from as a nation just yet, but it’s looking like the #PostTrumpEra may soon be upon us. The GOP will look for precise timing for a #Trexit; find an issue or a moment when they’ll lose the smallest portion of their base and, as they say, pull the trigger and denounce their leader. Fox News and the rest of the right-wing media will have to be completely onboard.
That way congressional Republicans can pull off the “Wicked Witch’s Guards” scenario like they were awoken from some spell. Remember when the guards changed completely from terrifying to helpful after the Wicked Witch of the West was liquidated? The GOP needs that same dynamic to avoid being irrelevant, and thus unable to cash in on lobbyist and donor cash, for decades.
They’ve been able to sidestep any of the hypocrisy that their rule has counted on this century, but this will be the harshest test.
And with a woke populace, it is one we can assure they will fail. And that is why the framework for the post-Trump healing needs to already be in place before the GOP dumps Trump.
Maybe they’ll say it’s not Adderall that Trump has been sniffing, it’s been cocaine left under his mattress at Mar-a-Lago. Maybe it will be a women whom Cohen paid to have an abortion to prevent a Trump “lust-child.”
They’ll want to flip a switch for instant, indignant reversal. We, on the other hand, want to highlight a more gradual path to revulsion, as tipping points are reached by millions on a monthly basis for more concrete and politically damning reasons.
And this is where the We Party TrueCons come in. In Parts 1 through 3 of this series, we’ve established the birth of the #TrueCon, the true conservatives who call out today’s GOP for their #SwissCheeseChristianity that revels in the fetus but is repulsed by the child, now demoted to merely a burden on society. With that hypocrisy and dozens of others exposed, TrueCons will find themselves in the #SilentCenter, as seen in Part 1:

In Part 2, we showed how We Party Populists, the positive populists, provide a safe place for these disgruntled Republicans to land. WPP has three subgroups, We Party Dems, We Party Independents, and We Party TrueCons. And each contingent has been heard in the We Party Populists Platform. Not only that, but WPP is willing to support TrueCon candidates in the GOP primaries as TrueCons seek to end the scourge of hatred, division, and misogyny that the GOP has tapped into to retain power. This is laid out in Part 2:

In Part 3, we established that in order to to restore integrity to the Republican Party, millions will have to #VoteBlue to end #CORPservative control over their party. And this can only come through the “Optimizing Democracy” plank of the WPP Platform or today’s H.R. 1 in the House.
Furthermore, we expand the political spectrum beyond one dimension, proving that the non-corporatist wings of both major parties - and within Independents - can deliver the winning margins needed to vote in enough Democrats to initiate the changes that can salvage the American dream. In today’s finale, we examine the Inclusion Möbius, the symbol for We Party Populists, and how it embodies the vision of how we emerge from the tentacles of #RepubloFascism with the least damage. Then we show how truth, at a political and emotional level, provides the sharp blade to sever every clutching arm.
Part 4 of 4: Putting the Nails in the #CORPservative Coffin, and How the #TrueCon Can Factor into Post-Trump Healing
Healing from today’s debacle, as noted above, will have to be a mindful process. And that means that it can’t be just Democrats calling out steadfast Republicans shouting out, “See, I told you so! But would you listen?” That will only result in current Republicans digging their heels in deeper.
Only evolved Republicans can reach out with credibility. And by giving these people the label of #TrueCons, as part of We Party Populists, who say they are voting blue for the short term but will work to remake the GOP in the long term, the sense of a bipartisan solution to ending the #CORPservative reign can be born.
Every Democrat knows nice people who are staunch Republicans. You can laugh together about the foibles of your favorite sports teams. You can drool over well-preserved pony cars. You move to the sounds of the same songs.
You know what camaraderie feels like with these folks on a personal level. And overcoming the heartbreaking destruction of integrity in American politics can be something shared in the same manner.
This is where the image and the ethos of the Inclusion Möbius comes in. The image above of a twisting möbius anchored in part by a representation of our American flag, is a graphic representation of how our nation can be: in economic, social, and political balance by 2025. The key at right shows the groups that each colored segment represents. You can also find out more about this effort at http://wepartypopulists.com and at the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WePartyPopulists/. On the main website’s homepage you’ll also see a link to a detailed description of just how each segment represented can be a valued and an equal part of the mix.
The logo comes with this caption:
Striving Together For a Truly Inclusive America by 2025.
But there is also a slogan for the WPP movement as a whole that needs to be embraced as soon as possible:
To Be a Practicing Patriot, You MUST Be An Inclusive American
Standing Proudly Together Not Defiantly Apart.
That sentiment is key to getting through all the gritty details together. While many on the left may rally around the notion of stomping the GOP into the ground and making it irrelevant forever, that is ultimately a selfish goal. As good as that may feel for some, we have to remember another WPP mantra:
#HateMakesNothingGreat
Yes, at first glance that can be seen as referring to how the MAGA hat wearers have been led to blind hatred that can only destroy, not make anything better. But this sentiment also applies to how those on the left need to pull back from the desire for comeuppance. More than that, this notion has to expand to how we react even within our own party. We cannot survive the next election feeding the circular firing squad.
Again, the IM needs to come into mind as we hold the vision of how we rebuild after Nov. 3, 2020. Let that date be revered as our #ReIndependenceDay, when RepubloFascism was turned back for the final time. With all the wealth inequality and unregulated monopoly capitalism to disassemble, it will be a long road. But we will have the power to make that path straight and efficient.
That is how our 2025 can be. But first, we need to disassemble the CORPservative GOP brick by brick. Their rule does need to be seen as a 99% vs. 1% battle, and there are mountains of evidence to verify that. But, in the spirit of We Party Populists, we have to narrow the scope of vilification to just the CORPservatives in power, not the conservatives who have supported them.
The best weapon to focus forward on is truth. And the collapse of today’s GOP needs go hand in hand with the promise that a better Republican Party can rise from its ashes. Just not right away…
There are three key factors in insuring this incarnation of the GOP does go complete down in flames. First make sure every devious deed throughout the Trump administration - and within Republican enablers - is exposed both in act and strategy. Drag the process out, unearth every minute detail. Establish all the connections with all politicians and foreign actors. No doubt every key Republican in Congress was in on all this, and each needs to be an #FTR: #FinalTermRepublican. Each conspired to take away our New Deal-era social safety nets, and should pay with their careers.
The goal has to be putting the dots so close together that even Rush’s “Dittoheads” can’t help but connect them. These folks not only have to realize that they’ve been played, they have to understand just what this has cost them economically and in their families’ safety. Of course, there will be 15 to 20% who can’t be convinced no matter what. They will ultimately be insignificant.
Secondly, the buzz of contempt for today’s #CORPservative GOP has to be as universal as possible, and thunderous within every facet of society that isn’t immune to logic. Then the dismay for the deeds of Trump will reach a point where the mainstream media realizes that telling the truth can yield big money. Progressives and woke folks will be very loyal to new advertisers who economically support the truth. There are businesses that have been poised for this chance to ride the popular blue wave. Smart networks will shift course.
And thirdly, Democrats need to find a way to connect with these disgruntled conservatives without putting into play the conflict of perspectives. When it comes to the health and security of families, there is much common ground. The deviations come mostly from GOP demonizing. With their facade of disinformation blown to smithereens, the GOP’s motivation behind every crafted lie unleashed will be exposed.
But again, the culprit must not be seen as conservatism itself. Democrats must allow room for folks to express their faith while at the same time showing that true Christianity doesn’t weaponize hypocrisy.
And this dynamic again shows how the advance of the TrueCon can counteract the messaging of corrupted faith leaders. The later cower at the thought of Live and Let Live, the Golden Rule, and Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged.
The TrueCons will be leaders who understand and implement all these things. Babies will be valued AFTER birth through subsidized daycare, pre-K funding, higher wages, and Medicare for All.
TrueCons will not fear the LBGTQ community, because the difference between love and sex will again be a rational distinction. If you are heterosexual, it’s OK for the particulars of homosexual sex to gross you out. But it’s the love between two people itself that has to be seen as a net positive, with the rest remaining a private aspect left in the bedroom. If that’s the best you can do, you can remain uncomfortable with that, even as you value these folks for what they add to society and the joy they bring to each other.
There is nothing to fear here. And odds are, there is nothing about it that will effect you anyway. Those that rail against homosexuals have mostly done so for political leverage.
Acknowledging that and other tools, woke TrueCons will no longer see any value for hate, fear, and division. Unburdened by these destructive dynamics, TrueCons and We Party Independents will gravitate towards other issues that were always important to them. Maybe the looming national debt will be what they call their legislators about. Maybe it will be making sure they can keep their guns.
And there’s room for that. The WPP stance is that it’s not gun rights that should be questioned, it’s #GunWrongs. Gun advocates have no reason to resist full background checks with adequate waiting periods, outlawing high-capacity magazines and automatic fire adapters, and preventing firearms from reaching the hands of domestic abusers and the mentally unstable. Only the NRA sees these restrictions as negatives. And with lobbying reforms and public not private funding for campaigns in the future, their ability to prevent these logical changes will erode to nothing.
Part of the awakening the TrueCons will experience, either independently or with the help of progressives, it how the worldview they were fed shifts when you eliminate absolutes.
This comes from the reality grasped when seeing things through percentages. Trump says that murderers and rapists flow through our southern border. But if statistics show that the crime rates among immigrant communities are actually lower than the American norm, their inclusion in our society actually brings the crime rate down. Why then are Trump and the GOP #CagingChristians, the largely Catholic families escaping the terrors of their homelands? Because hate consolidates their power.
There are over five million Muslim Americans here. Yet Islamic terrorism is essentially nonexistent compared to the right-wing extremists. Percentage-wise, which group then poses a greater threat to public safety? Which group has a greater history of violence?
Percentages yield truth. Compassion yields truth. Science yields truth. As we move towards that Inclusive America of 2025, truth will have its day. Racial injustice will no longer be institutionalized. That truth will have its day too.
For only truth can save a civilization in ecological, societal, and political peril.

Yes, I know that much of what I’ve stated in these four installments assumes a glass one-quarter full perspective. Call it being willfully naive if you like. But at this critical juncture, we at least have to talk about how our best selves can change things for the better. We have to hold it out there as possible, even if that’s against our base natures.
But optimism has weight in this world. And I’m not afraid to use it. Maybe this is all just very, very elaborate therapy. Yet the chance it can be more than that, that it can truly be the spark that gets people thinking in different, more holistic ways, is one that I can’t let go untried. Call me quixotic if you like. But if there’s something here that brings a glimmer of hope to you too, don’t let that spark die either.
There are folks that you know who are likely TrueCons in training. Reach out to them, understand the loss that will come with their unsettling revelations. Be a friend, not in search of leverage; just a fellow traveler wading in from the other side of the river. When in doubt, love your brother. It seemed like a good idea in the ‘60s. It could be an imperative for surviving as a species into the 22nd century.
