¡Buenos dias! Good morning and my warmest wishes to everyone keeping a close eye on Senator Kamala Harris’ historic run for the presidency, especially to those who have joined our efforts to positively promote our candidate in a spirit of mutual respect and celebration 🧡
Please visit our community group page Kamala2020 and give us a follow, that way all our group efforts will appear in your stream. As always, any who would like to join our group please leave us a comment and we’ll get your invitation right out to you!
What an appearance yesterday in Houston at the She The People Presidential Forum! I was reminded, once again, of exactly why I’m so proud to give her my enthusiastic support... and why I encourage others to do the same. Here’s a short video of Kamala talking about mental health and the war on drugs — no shouting, no demagoguery, just some cold hard truths that display her intimate understanding of these complex topics and her grasp of the interconnectedness of the myriad issues involved.
“This is a system, in particular around the criminalization of drug use and possession, that has been infected by racial bias.” KH
She the People 2019 Roundup, share your favorite parts of Kamala’s appearance in the comments.
All politicians should be held accountable for statements that are false or outright lies — and I think it’s up to all of us to keep Kamala honest, especially in the Age of Orange Lies… but, what follows is ridiculous!
Instead of correctly stating that, “the majority of minimum wage workers are women” as she has said several times on the campaign trail, Kamala hiccuped at the recent CNN Town Hall and got it bass-ackwards, “the majority of women are minimum wage workers.”
Leave it to everyone’s drunk right-wing dinner guest fresh off his latest DUI, the detestable Matt Gaetz, and the obviously bored factcheckers at PolitiFact, we get treated to this episode of As the Pearls are Clutched...
Ian Sams, Kamela’s fantastic National Press Secretary, lets it rip 😆
Thanks, Ian, I think you’re doing a great job! If you’re on Twitter, be sure to give him a follow.
Here are some more Tweets that you might enjoy… I love the way Kamala interacts with supporters, I think she’s winning hearts all over the country!
You’ll recognize this little cutie from today’s title pic...
Evergreen!
“Justice for all is not a zero-sum game...” So proud of the diversity among Kamala’s team.
Upcoming events!
Let the debates begin — I can’t wait!
The first 2020 Democratic Primary Debate, aired on NBC and MSNBC, will be held over 2 nights on June 26 and June 27, 2019. The debate will feature back-to-back primetime broadcasts on consecutive nights to ensure each candidate gets access to a primetime audience.

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other community members or any Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
Daily Kos is a huge community and there are fellow members and readers alike who do not share in our support or enthusiasm for Kamala’s campaign —
all should be made to feel welcomed here.
What’s not welcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
From the deepest part of my heart, I’d like to ask all group members, as well as all those dropping in who support Kamala’s historic bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity with negativity... though at times over the course of the next year+ it may be increasingly difficult. Let’s do better than our best and respond with love and respect, or hold our peace. I believe we’re all familiar with the following ageless wisdom — if we don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. 🧡
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Rise up, keep it joyful and have a beautiful day 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
I know this song brings back memories 💔 … it’s also #5 on Kamala’s playlist 🧡
