Remember when Kos told us that the future of the Democratic Party was to be found in Pro 2nd Amendment Democrats from Rural States?
Answer from Bernie haters: But Bernie isn’t a Dem!!!!!!
Remember when he pushed Brian Schweitzer down our throats?
Answer from Bernie haters: At least Schweitzer was a Dem!!! So what he was homophobic, he was OUR homophobic Dem at least!!!
Bernie is everything that Kos liked about Schweitzer without the homophobia and the shitty energy policy, so why does he hate on Bernie?
Answer from Bernie haters: What about his D- from the NRA???That “D” in the “D-” does not stand for Democrat!!!
Kos in 2015-
There is no sense in continuing to push for something (Warren for president) that simply won't happen. It's setting up people for failure, disappointment and disillusionment. But yes, a contested primary would be good. So if the draft people are serious, why not find a candidate that will make that statement run? Sen. Bernie Sanders appears ready and willing. Why not him?
Kos in 2015-
Remember Third Way, the Wall-Street-run front group of supposed "Democrats?" Fresh off panicking over Elizabeth Warren, they're now panicking over Bernie Sanders………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..I love these assholes talking about the "extremes" inhabited by the likes of Sanders and Warren. What exactly is in Sanders' bucket of issues that is so far out of touch with America? Granted, he's hostile to Daley's friends on Wall Street, but that's actually popular. In fact, I'd be hard-pressed to find anything in his portfolio that is out-of-touch with the American mainstream……..
………..It's funny that the issues that supposedly doom Sanders are all issues supported by a majority of the American people, whether you want to slap the scaaaary "socialist" label on them or not.
Fact is, Sanders is well within the Democratic Party mainstream, which is well within the American mainstream. If you are against health care for all, against a minimum wage hike, and against a robust social net, then there's a word for you, and it's not "Democrat." So fuck off, Daley—this isn't your friends' party anymore.
And to put a nail in it Kos in 2015-
We know the kind of campaign Sanders is running: A never-ending stream of public rallies and appearances. We also know what kind of campaign Clinton is running: A never-ending stream of high-dollar fundraisers at the homes of wealthy benefactors.
One of these tactics is getting people excited, boosting poll numbers, and raising money in the mid-$20 millions. Another one is disengaging potential supporters, killing poll numbers, and raising just above the mid-$20 millions.
So which one is the better approach? I mean, what genius said, "Let's do the same thing we did on the way to losing the nomination in 2008, because obviously nothing has changed!" Some genius at Clinton HQ, that's who.
What the fuck happened to the Kos of Crashing the Gates and the Kos of 2015?
How did he go from CTG those posts in 2015 to the Great Exodus of 2016 to the painful justifications for Bernie winning his straw poll in 2019?
