We are currently being flooded with polling about the Democratic Party’s presidential race. All well before even the first debate takes place?
How many of us are actually worried about this?
I’m not!
Since I’m on a salt-restricted diet, I have zero grains left to give 😄 but, I do have some serious side-eye-with-a-smile going on, just like somebody else I know!
This is already shaping up to be an exciting, down-to-the-wire campaign and as long as Kamala is in-it-to-win-it, as she most definitely is, then I’ll be here as if her eventual victory is a foregone conclusion… no distractions or MSM fueled speculations/manipulations will get in the way of my positive advocacy!
Let’s take our activism to a whole new level with Supermajority!
“A values agenda that puts women—and issues like child care and equal pay—front and center.
An intersectional, intergenerational movement of women that is going to drive the change we deserve. For good.”
Something so close to my heart…
Food shortages, damaged homes, fear of death, loved ones leaving. The cumulative stresses of Hurricane Maria contributed to thousands of schoolchildren developing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, in Puerto Rico, according to a study published Friday.
The Puerto Rico Department of Education — which partnered with the Medical University of South Carolina for this study — is using the data to target areas with the greatest need for mental health services, the study said.
“That just speaks to how big Maria was, how destructive Maria was island-wide,” she said. “And it didn’t matter what your income was or your location was on the island — you were affected.”
All our children deserve so much more.
Education advocacy and increased teacher’s pay is a winning combination, not only stateside, but especially here in Puerto Rico where our public schools and our teachers are still reeling from Hurricane Maria and its aftermath. Our public education is already under attack due to the course set by disgraced former Education Secretary and Besty DeVos clone, Julia Keleher. The DeVos plan for PR education must be reversed, no matter what. Kamala is up to the task!
Kamala standing up and speaking out on our country’s water crisis deserves as much support as we can muster. This untenable situation cannot be allowed to continue. Not on her watch!
From around the Twitterverse...
Welcome to the team, Jim Margolis!
Happy Birthday Cory!

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other community members or any other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
Daily Kos is a huge community and there are fellow members and readers alike who do not share in our support of, or enthusiasm for, Kamala’s campaign — all should be made to feel welcomed here.
What’s not welcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity —
that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions —
that’s 100% on us.
From the deepest part of my heart, I’d like to ask all group members, as well as all those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s historic bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity with negativity... though at times over the course of the next year+ it may be increasingly difficult!
Let’s do better than our best and respond with love and respect, or hold our peace. I believe we’re all familiar with the following ageless wisdom —
if we don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all 🤐
🧡🧡🧡 l hope we all have a great Tuesday 🧡🧡🧡
