Bay Area cities have announced the first “Spare the Air” day in 2019, when residents are encouraged not to drive and power down as much as possible through Tuesday.
High temperatures, dry air, smoke from the fires and exhaust from millions of cars makes for a hazardous smog that is visible throughout the area and is dangerous to children, the elderly and those with respiratory problems. The ozone concentration rises as well. abc7news.com/…
