The first semi-final match is in the books. This was a meeting of two undefeated titans, two of the leaders in all the polls. It looked to be a close match, maybe even going to PK. And … it was a blowout. I would not have suspected it, but Elizabeth Warren defeated Kamala Harris by a final score of 6-2. Warren took an early lead, and never let up, and advance to the finals on Monday (or Thursday, depending on the next match).
Today, we move to the next semi-final match:
Amy Klobuchar v Pete Buttigieg
Another good match; the remaining “centrist” candidate against the young very progressive (we think) mayor. Both have good qualities; only one can advance.
Scoring: it’s win, lose, or overtime. Yes, you can pick one, or the other, or “overtime” if you can’t make up your mind. If there is overtime, it’s one additional day, one player or the other, and it’s TOTAL votes from both polls!
Important note: this is a 48-hour poll; the winner will be announce at some time on Monday (or Thursday).
Feel free to comment, complain (only a little), improve, or anything. Just remember, this is for fun.
The next match on Monday (or Thursday) will be the other final match.
