No, it’s not Taco Tuesday or even Food Truck Friday — it’s Woozle Wednesday. However, last week when the woozles and their friends showed off their hot dog costumes and their barbecuing (and eating) skills, there was some dustup discussion over the lack of tacos. Or more specifically, the lack of TacoCats.
So, we ask what apparently is an ongoing question: are pooties really better suited to wearing taco costumes than dressing up as frankfurters? What about taste preferences? And is there a roll role for TacoDogs (and other taco critters) as well as for TacoCats? Or do only palindromes need apply?
Well, the woozles have protested. First, they love tacos (who doesn’t love a taco?). Second, they think dogs make great pals (well, they do make great pals!). Plus some dogs do tend to drone on, or dream on, or… OK, maybe some of the woozles misunderstood “palindrome” but to be fair, vocabulary isn’t a woozle’’s strength. Besides, English is their second language.
In any event, to prove their points, the woozles have challenged the pooties to a Taco Cook-Off. Contestants will be judged on cooking, eating, and costuming. May the best critter chef and the fanciest fashionista win. But before we fire up the taco trucks and race to our respective corners, we must pause for the rules, per the request of the Management:
